Every body is different and every body's endocannabinoid system, which is responsible for intake of CBD oil is different. There are people who just with few drops as hey are very sensitive to the CBD reaction and there are people who would need to take more drops to feel the required results.

Safe + sound with CBD

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) recommends limiting the daily dose of CBD to 70 mg (which is about 28-30 drops of 5% CBD).

Just for your comparison, recent CBD studies reported that long-term CBD intake of 10 to 400 mg/day was safe and well tolerated in participants.  Just for your reference, ebb + flow 5% CBD has 7,68 mg in the recommended 3-4 drops.  Researchers also reported that doses of up to 1500 mg/day were well tolerated (without serious side-effects).

How to take CBD oil?

Place 3 - 4 drops of the CBD oil under your tongue, leave it there for a minute and then swallow. This allows the CBD and other cannabinoids to enter the bloodstream via the mucous membranes in the mouth.

When should I take CBD oil?

There is not a golden rule for WHEN you should take CBD oil. Rather, answer the question WHY do you want to take CBD oil?  If your aim is to focus and combat anxiety and stress before your feet hit the ground, start your day with a gentle dose of 5% CBD oil.

If you're goal is to get a more restful night sleep, take a few drops of 10% CBD oil 15-30 minutes before going to bed. Try putting the screens away earlier too...

Every body is unique and has their own CBD journey.  Some people feel the results almost instantly after taking the CBD, others might need half hour. See how you feel and don't put any pressure on yourself. People's cannabinoid systems react differently.

Additionally, if you are searching for a longer term relief your journey will be different. Take 3-4 drops twice a day, build it into your own routine. Set a wellness goal at the beginning of your journey. Check in every few days and rate, on a scale of 1-10, how well you are meeting your wellness goal.

If you don't see the desired effect after one or two weeks, try the next higher percentage oil and continue the same regime. Remember, CBD is non addictive and will not get you high. If you have any additional questions, please contact us.
